Europe & Enterprises Project Manager, APCI
Sandrine Gibet joined the APCI (Agency for the promotion of industrial creation) in 2013 to coordinate the European REDI project (Regions support Entrepreneurs and Designers to Innovate). She organises the annual Designnovation conference about design promotion in Europe, and works on a range of projects to promote design-driven innovation (French Design Management Tour, APCI’s website, events). She participates in European networks and events including the DME Award and BEDA.
Sandrine graduated from La Sorbonne University (International Affairs and Economics) and the Paris Dauphine University (Art Management).
She worked initially at Business France, the French agency for the international development of enterprises, where she was responsible for the cultural industries sector and developed projects to support French enterprises looking to develop their business abroad.
After that she moved to Nantes to build a resource centre within the European ECCE project (developing Economic Clusters of Cultural Enterprises). The objective was to support the development of cultural and creative businesses.
Then she managed the setting up and the coordination of the 'Quartier de la création' creative cluster, part of a large urban regeneration project. One of the main challenges was to bring together the schools of Art and Management, Universities, R&D, creatives and enterprises to run collaborative and innovative projects.
