London Design Biennale

The inaugural London Design Biennale will take place from 7-27 September 2016 at Somerset House in the heart of the capital. It represents a unique opportunity for nations and cities to exhibit original and exceptional design installations. It will provide a prestigious stage for contemporary design and design-led innovation, creativity and research.

The Biennale will be exhibit work across the network of galleries at Somerset House, one of the UK's finest and architecturally important 18th century buildings.

For its inaugural year, up to 40 participating countries are invited to explore the theme for 2016 'Utopia by Design'. An international jury of creative experts will award medals to the Biennale's most significant national contributions.
